Community Lens for May 25

Ronald W. Rousseau of Atlanta took this photograph in May 2014 at the Conchon de Lait Festival in Mansura, Louisiana. The festival is held annually on the second full weekend in May. Mansura considers itself the Cochon de Lait capital of the world. The festival mixes Cajun food, good times and Louisiana music with the famous cochon de lait (French for roast suckling pig). The Greasy Pig contest has a group of children chasing a small pig. The one who catches it gets to keep the pig. Another highlight is the Cracklin Cook-off.
