Parents of Cobb County students will soon be able to pinpoint the exact time when buses will arrive to take their little ones to school.

The Cobb School District on March 4 will introduce the Here Comes the Bus app, which allows parents to receive real-time information on the location of their child’s school bus.

The app is a product of the system’s Transportation Department, which is responsible for taking more than 70,000 students to and from school using roughly 1,000 buses.

Along with scheduled times of arrival at home or school, parents can also elect to receive push notifications when a bus is approaching.

The app can be downloaded on the Google Play or Apple iTunes stores or by visiting Here Comes the Bus's website.
