Update:
An eatery that serves Chinese food in Marietta has passed its re-inspection after failing in part for a dirty kitchen.
Tasty China on Franklin Gateway scored a 92 on May 3, Cobb health department records show.
It passed despite an “accumulation of grease on the floor,” the inspector wrote. Grease in the kitchen was something the restaurant was docked for when it failed.

A Chinese restaurant in Marietta has failed its most recent health check, and for several reasons.
Tasty China, 585 Franklin Gateway SE, scored a 36 on its Tuesday health inspection, according to Cobb County health department records. Any score below a 70 is considered failing.
A manager who declined to give her last name to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday said many of the issues have been fixed.

The eatery was cited for an employee using their bare hands to cut vegetables and cooked beef. There was also a “dried accumulation of food residue” on the can opener, ice machine and meat slicer.
The ventilation hood and filter had “heavy grease,” the inspector wrote.

The manager said a professional cleaner has already fixed those areas and a deep clean of the dining room should happen soon.
She also said she had purchased extra sanitizing buckets, as some of them didn’t have the appropriate amount of sanitizing liquid inside.
Cobb health department records show that the restaurant has teetered on failure its previous four inspections, which ranged from the low mark of 70 to 77.
Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
