Rescue workers search for missing swimmer at Lake Allatoona

A 21-year-old man drowned Sunday in Bartow County, officials said.
The man, whose name has not been released, was reported missing in the water about 1:15 p.m. at Red Top Mountain Beach at Lake Allatoona, Bartow County EMS spokesman Brad Cothran said.
Rescue operations started at 2 p.m., Cothran said.
