A 14-year-old Jonesboro boy is in custody, accused of sexually abusing several younger children.
Jonesboro police told the AJC they arrested the suspect at his home this week on four counts of aggravated child molestation and four counts of aggravated sodomy. All the victims are under 10 years old, police said.
The 14-year-old's name is not being released because he is a juvenile. He is being held at a youth detention center.
Police declined to release specifics about the alleged incidents, except to say they occurred at different locations over several months. Police said they conducted "forensic interviews" with the victims that led them to the 14-year-old.
The investigation is ongoing and there may be additional victims, police said.
