Austell will pay $245,822 for new waterline
The Austell City Council voted Monday, Aug. 3, to award a $245,822 contract for the Austell Threadmill Waterline project.
Strack Inc., the lowest bidder, was awarded the contract.
The new waterline will supply the city’s building, at 5000 Austell Powder Springs Road, with water from the city’s water department at wholesale rates.
Funding will come from the special purpose local option sales tax.
