Nearly 300 Atlanta students were exposed to the rigors and realities of college life by participating in the city school district’s Project GRAD Summer Institute.

The students attended classes at one of seven local universities as they worked to complete requirements for earning a Brumley-GRAD scholarship upon high school graduation.

Participating universities included Metropolitan State College, Emory, Georgia State and Morehouse.
