Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" personality Dwight Eubanks was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, police said.

Officers were patrolling the area of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard on Dec. 14 when they saw a Chevy Tahoe with the driver's side headlight out, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee told the AJC on Monday. They stopped the vehicle and spoke to Eubanks, who told them he did not have his license with him, the spokesman said.

When authorities checked, they found out his license had been suspended, Chafee said. He was arrested and charged.

A court date is pending for the salon owner and stylist, who left "Real Housewives" last season.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
