A changed DeKalb County government has emerged after four years of corruption allegations and criminal prosecutions.

The county now has new leaders, outside oversight and spending controls.

The overhaul took place through a combination of elections, new state laws and convictions.

The county is still dealing with many problems, from unresolved accusations of misconduct to inexplicably high water bills.

A fresh set of government leaders is now in place to try to find solutions.
