South DeKalb Senior Center opens
Community members and DeKalb County officials including District Attorney Robert James, Commissioner Stan Watson and Commissioner Stan Watson cut a ribbon Monday for the grand opening of the South DeKalb Senior Center.

Oct 12, 2015The South DeKalb Senior Center celebrated its grand opening Monday, welcoming residents over 60 years old to a gathering place with a variety of activities and services.
The center aims to promote health and wellness, social interactions, education and independence, according to the county.
The senior center is located at 1931 Candler Road in the Decatur area.
