Because of inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Irma, MARTA has canceled a public hearing on proposed changes to its busservice that was scheduled for tonight in Jonesboro. The event will be rescheduled.

The agency still plans to hold hearings in DeKalb and Fulton counties this week:

*6 p.m. Thursday at Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur.

*6 p.m. Thursday at the Fulton County Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor St. SW, Atlanta.

MARTA has proposed changes to numerous routes that would become effective Dec. 9. For details, visit itsmarta.com.
