Here’s the latest on which of Georgia’s largest colleges and universities will have classes Wednesday and those who will continue to be closed as the state recovers from the remnants of Hurricane Irma.

Open: Emory, the University of Georgia (at 10 a.m.), Georgia State’s Atlanta campus, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Clark Atlanta, Morehouse and Spelman.

Closed: Agnes Scott College, Armstrong State, College of Coastal Georgia, Georgia Southern, Oglethorpe and Savannah State.

The following Technical College System of Georgia campuses will be closed Wednesday:

Atlanta Technical College, Coastal Pines Technical College, Georgia Piedmont Technical College, Gwinnett Technical College, Lanier Technical College, Oconee Fall Line Technical College, Savannah Technical College and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Armstrong State and the College of Coastal Georgia both said they’ll be closed for classes for the rest of the week.

The College of Coastal Georgia, in Brunswick, reminded students not to try to return to campus until authorities say it’s safe to do so.
