The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication is the third top journalism school in the country according to a survey by the Radio Television Digital News Association.

The ranking places Grady College behind only the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Journalism — the former workplace of Grady Dean Charles Davis — and Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.

The survey rankings were determined by more than 1,300 votes from a mixture of news professionals and non-news professionals and educators. Grady College’s dedicated professors and well-rounded graduates were cited by survey voters among the school’s strengths.
