UGA’s journalism school ranked third in the country

Dec 19, 2013The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication is the third top journalism school in the country according to a survey by the Radio Television Digital News Association.
The ranking places Grady College behind only the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Journalism — the former workplace of Grady Dean Charles Davis — and Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
The survey rankings were determined by more than 1,300 votes from a mixture of news professionals and non-news professionals and educators. Grady College’s dedicated professors and well-rounded graduates were cited by survey voters among the school’s strengths.
