Ten Fulton County schools remain on a list that would make them potentially eligible for a state takeover, according to information released Tuesday.

The list, put together by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement, is based on how schools fare on the state's College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), an annual rating of each public school's academic performance. A school must have a score less than 60 for three consecutive years to be eligible for a takeover. The index scores were released Tuesday.

The ten schools are:

  • Banneker High School
  • Creekside High School
  • Feldwood Elementary School
  • Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School
  • Heritage Elementary School
  • Liberty Point Elementary School
  • McNair Middle School
  • Mount Olive Elementary School
  • Parklane Elementary School
  • Woodland Middle School

Sweet Apple Elementary School had the best index score in Fulton, with 99.7. River Trail and Webb Bridge middle schools had the highest index scores for middle schools, at 97.2. The Fulton Science Academy High School had an index score of 93.8, the best among high schools.
