At some DeKalb schools, heat issues on a cold first day back

Parents have taken to social media reporting that some DeKalb County school buildings are sans heat on the first day of classes in 2018.
Students returned to school today amid below-freezing temperatures, as a winter storm dumped snow on the state's coastal region.

Parents have complained about several schools being without heat, with temperatures across metro Atlanta hovering around 30 degrees.
District officials so far have said an older section of Druid Hills High School is without power, and workers are there addressing the issue. Officials said Wadsworth, Canby Lane and Snapfinger elementary schools also have had sporadic issues.
