Fourteen Georgia school districts were recently honored for their efforts to use technology in the classroom and to better communicate with parents and the community.

The districts included Cherokee, DeKalb, Fayette, Hall and the city of Decatur.

The recognition was made by the Center for Digital Education in partnership with the National School Boards Association after a study by the organizations.
