Gwinnett Tech selects 2014 instructor of the year

Jan 21, 2014Mehmet Kilinc, program director for the Information Security Specialist program, has been named Gwinnett Technical College’s instructor of the year.
Kilinc received the college’s 2014 Rick Perkins Award of Excellence in Technical Instruction, which honors technical college teachers for innovation and leadership in their fields.
He was part of the team that created the information security program at Gwinnett Tech, the first in the state’s Technical College System, and has served as its director for more than a decade.
He will represent Gwinnett Tech in the regional and state Rick Perkins Award competitions.
