Some Gwinnett County middle school students may see a familiar face on a popular television crime drama Wednesday evening, if their parents let them stay up to watch.

Twelve-year-old Christa Beth Campbell, a seventh-grader at the Gwinnett Online Campus, has a role on the 250th episode of the CBS show “Criminal Minds.” Gwinnett officials spotlight Campbell as an example of how more students are taking classes online while pursuing careers in the performing arts or athletics.

Campbell last week celebrated making the National Junior Honor Society, which honors select students for their scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
