Educators interested in working for Gwinnett County Public Schools still have an opportunity to apply. The district has several career fairs scheduled for qualified candidates looking to become teachers. Called Teach Now, Teach Here,  events are scheduled for:

The events will be held at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road, NW, in Suwanee and are open to certified teachers, recent college graduates of teacher education programs, and applicants who meet GCPS hiring criteria. Attendees must be eligible to be hired for the 2019-20 school year as the district is seeking candidates for current school vacancies.

Human Resources staff members will meet with attendees following check-in to determine if applicants are eligible for an interview. Candidates who have not submitted an online application will have an opportunity to share their résumés and complete the application process on-site. During the event, the district will offer letters of intent to qualified candidates.

Can’t make it to an in-person job fair? Gwinnett is also hosting a Virtual Job Fair through Aug. 1 to fill teaching vacancies for the 2019-20 school year.
