What should Gwinnett County name an elementary school that’s under construction in Norcross? The school district wants the public’s help in deciding what it should be called.

The district has placed a form on its website for people to offer suggestions. The future school is located at 123 Price Pl., near Buford Highway and Beaver Ruin Road. The deadline to submit suggestions is Sept. 8.

A committee of area residents will submit suggested names to Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks, who will make a recommendation to the Gwinnett school board. The board will vote on the eventual name.
