Gwinnett County parents can begin the process of enrolling their children in kindergarten on Monday.

Parents can go to their school’s website and start the registration process. Parents must complete the registration process at the local school on May 7. If a parent is unsure which school their child will attend, they should call the school district’s planning department.

Children must be 5 by Sept. 1, 2015 to enroll in kindergarten. State lawmakers had considered changes to how old a child could be before enrolling in kindergarten, but changes were not adopted during this year's legislative session.
