A Lawrenceville church is scheduled Monday to give away about 1,100 books to students at two Gwinnett County elementary schools.

The books are being donated by First Baptist Church Lawrenceville to Lawrenceville and Winn Holt elementary schools. Each student can take as many as 10 books to read during the summer.

The books will be sorted by grade level so students may select books appropriate for their grade and reading level.
