Gwinnett chooses principals for new schools

Gwinnett County school board members Thursday evening picked principals to lead three new schools opening in August.

Clayborn Knight, who currently serves as principal of Nesbit Elementary School, will transfer at the end of the 2014-15 school year to become the principal of Graves Elementary School, which will be located at 1700 Graves Rd. in Norcross.

Charlotte Sadler, who currently serves as principal of Parsons Elementary School, will be the principal of the new Baggett Elementary School, which will be located at 2136 Old Norcross Rd. in Lawrenceville.

Melissa Walker, who currently serves as the principal of Benefield Elementary School, will serve as principal of Jordan Middle School, which will be located at 8 Village Way in Lawrenceville.
