Gwinnett appoints four new principals

Gwinnett County school system leaders have chosen four educators to be principals for the next school year.

The changes, announced last week, are:

Jonathan Day, currently the assistant principal of Mulberry Elementary School, will be the school’s new principal.

Danyel Dollard, the assistant principal of Duluth High School, will become principal of Shiloh High.

Michele Smith, currently the principal of Suwanee Elementary School, will be the principal of Jenkins Elementary School.

Holly Warren, the current assistant principal of Beaver Ridge Elementary School, will be the principal of Dacula Elementary School.

The principals at three of the four schools are retiring, Gwinnett officials said.
