Georgia’s Pre-K program is entering its 22nd year, and this fall up to 84,000 children will attend the program.

Any eligible child, regardless of income, can enroll in the program, which is funded by the Georgia lottery.

The first day of Pre-K varies depending on the school system and childcare provider. During the last school year, Pre-K and Head Start served 66 percent of four-year-olds in Georgia.

For information about enrolling in Georgia Pre-K, visit the Georgia Department for Early Care and Learning website.
