An Atlanta Police Department Fugitive Team has extradited from Denver a charter school administrator accused of stealing an estimated $600,000 from the Atlanta Latin Academy and other Fulton County schools.

Christopher Clemons was returned to Atlanta on Wednesday, police said in a news release.

Clemons, the former finance director of the Atlanta Latin Academy Charter School, is accused of using school funds for personal expenses, such as strip club outings and trips.

Clemons was arrested in April in Colorado.
