DeKalb County school custodian surprised with new car

Vadel Gray allowed his car to be used last year for the movie “Miracles from Heaven.”
The 1989 Chevy Celebrity was a bit banged up — the passenger side doors dented from a previous accident, trim missing from that entire side — but it still drove. Queen Latifah’s character, Angela, was a down-on-her-luck waitress who needed a car that matched her life.
When Gray totaled the car earlier this year, the folks at online auto retailer Carvana helped hatch a plan to get him a new one. Dunwoody Elementary Principal Jennifer Sanders said no one was more deserving than Gray, who works as a custodian for the school and is beloved by the students and other staff.
Maybe this was his miracle?
