Several Cobb County schools staff were recently trained on how to respond to difficult, dangerous or tragic events, including extreme weather. The event was organized by the district’s Prevention Intervention Center. Around 89 school counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, translators and public safety officers attended the event.
