Cobb County school district officials expect 2,000 job-seeking teachers to attend two upcoming hiring fairs.

The fairs are open to anyone interested in certified teaching positions. Those seeking elementary school jobs should attend Hillgrove High School on Monday, from 5 to 9 p.m.

For middle and high school jobs, there’s a hiring fair slated for Wednesday at Kennesaw Mountain High School, from 5 to 9 p.m.

“We will be ready to offer contracts,” said Kevin Kiger, Cobb’s executive director of employment, according to a released statement from the school system. “We expect to fill between 500 and 700 positions.”
