Clayton State to host First Lego League regional tournament

Dec 30, 2014The First Lego League regional competition returns to Clayton State University on Jan. 10.
The competition will be the championship qualifying round for 32 teams of regionally-local students ages nine to 14. The top teams from the six super regional contests in Georgia will advance to the state competition in late January.
The event highlights work in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines with a focus on computer science and robotics in three parts: the Robot Game, the Project, and the Core Values.
The daylong event will be held in the James M. Baker University Center and is free and open to the public
