Cherokee County schools will not open Monday.
A spokeswoman said due to hazardous road conditions in shaded areas throughout the County and on Cherokee County School District properties, and after consultation with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee Emergency Management Agency, the superintendent has cancelled school for students and staff.
