Representatives from about 100 colleges, nearly one-half of them Historically Black Colleges and Universities, will be sharing information about their schools and recruiting students on Saturday at the 14th annual Black College Expo Atlanta.

The expo will be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 and $8.

Organizers say many colleges and universities will be accepting students instantly, waiving application fees and awarding more than $1 million in scholarships. Parents and students are encouraged to bring their school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores.

The expo is being organized by the National College Resources Foundation.
