Atlanta Public Schools to close two hours early Friday
Due to impending inclement weather, Atlanta Public Schools will close schools two hours early Friday. Forecasts call for snow and ice beginning late Friday and extending into early Saturday.
Schools will close as follows:
Elementary School 12:30 p.m.
High School 1:30 p.m.
Middle Schools 2:05 p.m.
All Friday after-school and evening activities, including community meetings, are cancelled. The district is also cancelling all weekend activities.
