Atlanta’s Morningside Elementary School named Blue Ribbon School

Atlanta's Morningside Elementary School has been named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.

The award recognizes Morningside’s performance on state tests and other measures.

Morningside Elementary is one of 329 schools receiving the national award. Ten Georgia schools, including the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology and Cobb County's Mount Bethel Elementary School, were also named Blue Ribbon schools.
