Atlanta families: Learn how to get training for high-demand jobs

Atlanta Public Schools and Atlanta Technical College will hold open houses for a new training program this week, Atlanta College and Career Academy.

Atlanta College and Career Academy is one of Georgia's newest college and carer academies, partnerships between local school systems and the state's technical colleges, other post-secondary institutions and local businesses to train students for high-demand jobs.

Open houses will be held Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Atlanta Technical College, 1560 Metropolitan Parkway SW.
