Leadership Atlanta has announced the participants for its Class of 2019 Program.
“We are thrilled to welcome the largest class ever,” said Pat Upshaw-Monteith, president and CEO of the group. “We are proud to continue Leadership Atlanta’s tradition of bringing together the region’s most influential, engaged, and creative leaders dedicated to working together for the greater good.”
During the nine-month program, participants will learn more about the region through retreats, full-day seminars, service projects, discussion groups and community tours, and other activities.
Those selected represent diverse industries - education, law, corporate, religious, nonprofit, technology, media, healthcare, and politics and government.
Leadership Atlanta’s mission is to build a better community “through education about the key issues facing the region and inspiring members and others to take on and exercise real leadership committed to serving the common good.”
Founded in the early 1970s, Leadership Atlanta is the oldest continuously running training program of its type in the country.
