1 killed, others injured in Clayton County wreck

The westbound lanes of I-285 in Clayton County have reopened following a crash late Thursday night that killed one person and injured several others.

The wreck blocked all westbound lanes of I-285 after Jonesboro Road, according to Officer Charlene Watson-Fraser with Clayton County police. Those lanes reopened early Friday after being closed for several hours.

Details regarding how the wreck happened were not available Thursday. Names of those involved were not released.
