Adrea Aronald, 52, was charged with kidnapping, reckless endangerment and grand larceny, WNBC reported.

According to police, the toddler's 29-year-old mother left the child strapped in a car seat in the back of her Honda Accord while she went into a Brooklyn store to get some food, the Daily News reported.

That’s when Aronald allegedly jumped into the driver’s seat of the unlocked car and drove away.

She hit a bicyclist two blocks away, continued driving and crashed into three parked cars, the New York Post reported.

Police arrested Aronald, while the 36-year-old bicyclist suffered minor injuries, the newspaper reported. The child was not hurt.
