Four people received non-life threatening injuries in an early Tuesday morning collision between a Fulton County school bus and an SUV, authorities said.

The SUV driver, whose name was not released, was cited for failure to maintain a lane, police said.

Her vehicle crossed from a northbound lane of Old National and collided with the southbound school bus about 7 a.m. near Flat Shoals Road, police said. The school bus was headed to Westlake High School.

A student who was on the bus was treated at Hughes Spalding Hospital, and a child who was in the SUV was transported to Atlanta Children’s Health Care at Egleston, Fulton County police spokeswoman Kay Lester said.

Atlanta Medical Center treated the bus driver, who complained of knee pain, said Susan Hale, school spokeswoman.

The driver of the SUV also was hurt and taken to a hospital, police said.
