A Forsyth County middle school teacher was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of indecent exposure, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Coby Shane Rosson, 35, who lives in Dawsonville, is accused of being fully undressed while making lewd acts toward the pool from his third-story beach condominium in Fort Walton Beach, according to a police report. A person at the pool was able to provide cellphone video of the incident, the sheriff’s office said.

A second person at the pool reported seeing Rosson masturbating for several minutes while standing at a window facing the pool, the police report states.

Rosson told deputies he had been drinking alcohol and “made a bad choice,” according to the report. Following his arrest, he was released Tuesday on a $1,000 bond, jail records show.

Rosson is a physical education and health teacher and basketball coach at DeSana Middle School near Alpharetta, according to the school’s website. He had been employed by the school system since 2017, a district spokeswoman said.

Forsyth schools are not in session this week due to fall break.

“Coby will not be at school after fall break,” the school district said in an emailed statement.
