WSVN-TV in Broward County reports that two men caught a 13-foot hammerhead shark Monday afternoon.

The shark, according to the report, was caught near the pier at Commercial Boulevard and A1A in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

The report goes on: Ryan Polash and a friend were the ones who caught the sea creature and helped guide it toward the shore. Polash then pulled the shark onto the beach. "A lot of adrenaline running through your body, it's not easy," he said.

Polash, 21, was with a friend, who hooked the shark at the pier. Polash grabbed the shark and brought it onto the sand for photos.

After photos were taken, Polash and others dragged the hammerhead back to the water and it swam away.
