Henry County's Flippen Elementary School took part Friday in a program designed to raise the national visibility of bullying and to urge schools and students to take a stand against bullying. Students signed a "No Place to Hate" pledge as part of Defeat the Label's annual Stand4Change Day. For more information, go to http://www.defeatthelabel.com/stand.html. Flippen Elementary opened in 2003 at 425 Peach Dr. in McDonough and has about 700 students in K-5.
