Lynnette Lindesay has served as the Business and Computer Science Instructor at Elkins Pointe Middle School for the past 12 years and serves as the Middle School Business and Computer Science Pathway Specialist for CTAE in Fulton County. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education with honors in Business Education from Florida A&M University.

Lynnette’s father and mother gave her a sense that religion, education, family, and community were essential and sparked her interest in business. As a young girl, they instilled in her that there were never any limitations to her goals, and she carried that with her to become the woman and educator she is today.

Lynnette Lindesay wants her students to succeed and, just like her parents instilled in her, she hopes that all her students believe that there aren’t any limits to what they can achieve.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is proud to announce a new community recognition program – the AJC Celebrating Teachers Awards. We believe the very best of the best are worth honoring and giving them the recognition they deserve. This will be a moment of significant pride for the honoree, their family and school.
