An arraignment and bond hearing for captured South Georgia bank director Aubrey Lee Price has been rescheduled for Wednesday in Statesboro, according to federal court records.
Price, 47, is accused of bank fraud involving the failed Montgomery Bank & Trust in Ailey, Ga., 170 miles southeast of Atlanta. He is separately under indictment in New York on a federal wire fraud charge.
The bond hearing was initially scheduled for Monday in Savannah.
Price, who was missing for 18 months after suggesting he was going to kill himself by jumping off a South Florida ferry boat, was captured on New Year’s Eve. He was arrested near Brunswick following a traffic stop for having too much window tint on the vehicle he was driving.
Authorities in Florida are also trying to determine if Price is involved in a marijuana grow house near the city of Ocala.
