Officials said they have arrested the people responsible for the death of a Sandy Springs hair salon employee whose body was dumped behind a Paulding County auto body shop.
Marietta police and the Paulding County sheriff’s department arrested Omar Savior, 21, and Thadeshia Clark, 20, in connection with the killing of 35-year-old Howard Sewell.
Savior and Clark were taken into custody Friday evening. They are both charged with felony murder, armed robbery and concealing a death.
On June 3, Paulding authorities were called to the Gerber Auto Body Shop just off Marietta Highway after a body was found behind the business, sheriff’s Sgt. Ashley Henson said Thursday. The body was taken to the GBI crime lab and identified as Sewell, who had been reported missing to Cobb County police two days earlier.
The GBI identified Sewell’s body partly through dental records and partly through the DNA of Sewell’s sister.
“Forensic pathologists further determined that the manner of death was a homicide,” Henson said.
Sewell worked at Van Michael Salon in Sandy Springs.
