Two men who stole three guns, electronics and money from more than 20 cars in a Coweta County subdivision have put the area on edge.
“My driver’s license was stolen and then my school computer was stolen,” Stearne Pope, one victim, told Channel 2 Action News on Tuesday. “A bunch of items were stolen. Everything was drug out of my truck and scattered all over the road.”
Right after the Oct. 15 crime spree in Sharpsburg, the men bought $50 worth of gas at a Flash Foods store on Highway 34 in Newnan with a stolen credit card, deputies said. Also, one of the men bought food inside the store.
“It makes me angry,” Pope said. “Especially you work hard for your stuff.”
