A 3-year-old boy is safe after he was abducted at a Meriwether County home Tuesday morning, prompting an hourslong search for the child and the man who allegedly took him.
Cayden Anthony was located Tuesday afternoon and Curtis Hall, the man accused of abducting him, was taken into custody, Meriwether County deputies said.
Authorities issued a Levi’s Call for Anthony after he went missing from the home along Marble Road, police said. A Levi’s Call is Georgia’s version of an Amber Alert.
Hall, who police said was driving a silver 2008 Honda Accord with a temporary tag, was taken into custody about 5:30 p.m., approximately eight hours after the child was reported missing.
It was unclear what the relationship is between the child and the man.
