Atlanta police have released video of an orange Ford Mustang seen near a popular Buckhead bar around the time a woman was shot Sunday morning.

They are looking to speak with the occupants of the vehicle “in an effort to further their investigation into the incident,” police spokesman Sgt. John Chafee said.

The woman, identified by Channel 2 Action News as 35-year-old Erika Pickett, was walking along Roswell Road in the area of Red Door Tavern and talking with several people when the group heard two gunshots, according to police. She then realized she was shot in the arm.

Her family believes this shooting could have happened to anyone who was on Roswell Road early Sunday morning.

Authorities were called to respond about 2:50 a.m., and the woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. She was stable at the scene.

“At this time, it is unclear who fired the shots,” Chafee said in a statement. “Investigators continue working this case to identify the suspect/s.”

Anyone with information about the orange Mustang or its occupants is asked to contact Atlanta police. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
