A Marietta High School student confessed that he threatened to kill his classmates, officials said Tuesday.

Cameron Michael Person was accused of making two threatening posts against classmates in an After School app, police said. A warrant shows that Person was at his Bellemeade Court address July 19 when he posted the threats.

He was arrested, waived his Miranda rights and confessed to police July 26, according to the warrant.

The warrant said Person threatened first to kill everyone at the high school, then posted he would “kill everyone on sight (expletive deleted) just wait.”

Marietta police Officer Kelah Wallace said detectives aren’t releasing additional information because the investigation is ongoing.
