A Lawrenceville man was found guilty of murder in his grandfather’s death and sentenced to life in prison this week, authorities said Friday.

, 23, was charged with murder in 2012 in connection with the killing of , 59, in Jaunary of that year. Police found Stridion stabbed to death in his Peachtree Corners home after conducting a requested welfare check.

After investigating the incident, police arrested Henderson, Stridion's grandson, and charged him with .

According to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, Henderson killed his grandfather after Stridion — a partial quadriplegic — kicked him out the apartment.

Henderson was found guilty on all counts and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
