A Lawrenceville man was found guilty of murder in his grandfather’s death and sentenced to life in prison this week, authorities said Friday.
Arion Henderson, 23, was charged with murder in 2012 in connection with the killing of William Andre Stridion, 59, in Jaunary of that year. Police found Stridion stabbed to death in his Peachtree Corners home after conducting a requested welfare check.
After investigating the incident, police arrested Henderson, Stridion's grandson, and charged him with murder, aggravated assault, concealing a death and two counts of theft by receiving.
According to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, Henderson killed his grandfather after Stridion — a partial quadriplegic — kicked him out the apartment.
Henderson was found guilty on all counts and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
